Aircheck of YVKY 710 kHz Caracas, Venezuela as received from Philadelphia; 2100 air-miles DX. January 7, 1989, 2.27 - 2.48 a.m. Radio Capital 50KW. WOR in New York nulled. GE Superadio receiver. This is my farthest known DX on the AM broadcast band. I probably have heard other South American stations possibly further (i.e. Colombia, etc.), but was unable to identify them. If I have misidentified this station, please let me know.
